At P3, pets are never treated like “just animals” — they are family. That belief is at the center of everything we do. As a fully insured and bonded company, we strive to create a safe, dependable, and loving environment for every pet in our care.

The P3 team is more than just coworkers; we are a close-knit family brought together by our shared passion for animals and commitment to providing exceptional care. At Paula’s Pawsome Pets, we believe in building lasting relationships and creating a community where pets and people feel loved, supported, and valued. We are proud to welcome every client and pet into the P3 family and look forward to making each day a fun, safe, and unforgettable experience for your beloved companions.

Krista

Krista joined the P3 team in June 2024 and quickly became an important part of the family. One of her favorite things about working for P3 is the strong family-like atmosphere, where everyone supports one another and has a great time together. She truly loves being part of such an amazing team.

Krista doesn’t have just one favorite animal to care for because she loves all of the babies in the P3 family equally. She enjoys building connections with each pet and helping make sure they feel loved and cared for.

Krista is a valued member of the Durham team and also plays an important administrative role behind the scenes. She assists with scheduling and helps prepare and organize our P3 family through the Time To Pet portal to ensure everything runs smoothly for both clients and staff.

Abby

Abby is a proud Durham, North Carolina, native with a lifelong love for animals, family, and community. She attended North Carolina State University for Elementary Education and later earned her degree in School Administration & Leadership from Appalachian State University.

At home, life is busy, loud, loving, and full of personality — just the way Abby likes it! She shares her home with her husband, Zach, their children Gunnar, Marianna, and Noa Lily, and brother-in-law Jordan. Their home wouldn’t be complete without their beloved animals: Blue the Blue Heeler (the grumpy old alpha), Rosie the German Shepherd, Maverick the Rottie mix, Tootsie Roll the Pit Bull, June Bug the sweet senior cat, Winks the spunky rescue cat Zach saved from under a house years ago, and Finn the Bearded Dragon.

Through Paula’s Pawsome Pets, she brings that same love, patience, and care to every pet she meets — treating them like family from the moment they walk through the door.

Heather

Since 2024, Heather Baker has had the absolute pleasure of working as a pet sitter, and it has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. Animals have always held a special place in her heart, so being able to spend her days caring for them feels incredibly fulfilling.

One of Heather’s favorite parts of the job is overnight visits, which have become her specialty. She loves spending extra time with each pet, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their families are away.

What makes her work even more meaningful are the bonds she has built with both the pets and their owners. Many of the animals she cares for have become like family to her — her little babies in a way — and every cuddle, tail wag, and happy greeting creates memories she will cherish forever.

Working with such a wonderful company has been an amazing experience because it truly feels like one big family united by a shared love for animals. Heather genuinely enjoys waking up every day and doing something she loves while building lifelong relationships with incredible pets and clients along the way.

For Heather, pet sitting is so much more than just a job — it is a passion, a purpose, and an opportunity to give love and comfort to animals who leave paw prints on her heart forever.

LeAnne

LeAnn has loved animals for as long as she can remember. Growing up around dogs, caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of her life. Her mema had cats everywhere, and LeAnn helped care for them and show them love, believing that even stray animals deserve kindness when they allow it. Her dada has hunting dogs, and she has always enjoyed helping care for them as well.

Since childhood, LeAnn has always had animals in her life. Today, she has two dogs named Rattler and Ghost, who are truly her babies. She loves them deeply and would do absolutely anything for them.

LeAnn joined P3 in May 2026 and looks forward to caring for all the babies at P3 with the same love, attention, and dedication she gives her own pets every single day.

Chandler

Chandler grew up surrounded by animals and has loved them for as long as they can remember. From having dogs at home to helping their uncle care for animals on the farm, they gained experience working with cows, horses, and many other animals from an early age.

Their love for animals extends to all kinds, big and small. If they had to choose a favorite wild animal, Chandler would pick either a kangaroo or a giraffe, while dogs will always hold the top spot when it comes to pets.

Chandler enjoys spending time with animals and loves getting the opportunity to care for them, making sure they feel happy, safe, and well-loved.

Dillon Futrell

I joined the P3 team September 2025. Dogs are my favorite animals to work with, and what I love most about working with animals is the joy they bring. I’m especially excited to be part of the P3 team because it gives me the opportunity to work with different kinds of animals beyond dogs and cats, which I’ve mainly worked with in the past.

Heather Brown

I started working with P3 at the beginning of October. My absolute favorite animals in the world are dolphins—I’ve always found them to be beautiful, intelligent, and a little mystical. I’ve loved all animals for as long as I can remember, and I’m so excited to be part of P3. Not only does it give me the chance to work with and care for animals, but it also offers an opportunity to reconnect and build genuine emotional connections—with a dash of adventure along the way!

Bianca Clemens

I started working with P3 in September 2025. My favorite animals to work with are dogs, and what I love most about P3 is how much we do for the animals and how dedicated we are to their care.
